According to its by-laws and in accordance with its pan-African vocation, the Foundation must open an office in each African State or of residence of the African diaspora by way of decentralization and local management of its activities. To this end, applications are permanently open to serve the 54 African states and all the states of residence of the African diaspora. The main criterion for the selection and retention of successful candidates is total disinterest and unwavering commitment to Africa’s vision of self-development. Fundraising by each office is primarily intended for the delivery of its own national program.
A percentage, to be defined by the Board of Directors, will be reserved for actions of regional nature. Qualified officers will be appointed to lead the regional and national programs and funds.
At the moment, only two FOSDAF offices are open: the headquarters, in Columbus, Ohio, United States, and Lomé, Togo, the current place of residence of its President. The latter will be keen to establishing the FOSDAF program in each African state and of its diaspora residence, as soon as possible. 2021 is the year of the relaunch of our Foundation.
